Muslin

Muslin, also known as Diaper fabric or gauze, is a light, airy, and soft cotton fabric with a loose weave, originally from the Middle East. It is often made from cotton but can also contain silk or other natural fibers.

Features:

• Breathable, soft, absorbent, and dries quickly
• Characteristically wrinkled in appearance – no ironing required
• Transparent and very pleasant to the touch

Uses:

• Ideal for baby diapers, towels, bibs, scarves
• Also great for summer dresses, skirts, or scarves that don't require ironing

Warning:

• Shrinkage of approx. 8–10%, up to 15% for blends with bamboo viscose
